Membership
You do not need to be a member to run at SMC. You can just register, turn up and run if you like! However SMC is a running club and we hope you want to be a part of it.
Your $20 Membership includes:
- Discounted rate for SMC awards night dinner ticket
- All members who compete in all 9 runs in the same series will receive a commemorative “I did the flaming lot” t-shirt. ‘Same series’ meaning all nine long runs, all nine 10km runs or all nine 5km runs.
Perhaps the most important benefit is that you’ll become a member of a running club which has been established for over 30 years.
Please note that membership may only be purchased up until the 6th race in the season. Once the registrations shut for race 6, so will the option to become an SMC member. So don’t leave it too late!
