NB: all runners must be completed no later than 9:30am.

SMC Road Race Series

We are a non-profit running club, run entirely by volunteers. Anyone can run at any SMC event, no matter what their ability, speed or experience. All runners are issued with timing chips and bibs, and all finishers get an official time from our electronic timing system.

You do not need to be a member to run at an SMC road race.  You can enter a single race online, or purchase multiple races in advance to save even more time and money.

What's new for season 24-25?

  1. Lucky door cash prizes drawn at each race for runners
  2. In addition, member only cash prizes drawn at each race
  3. Discounts for Race Packs for 65yo+ runners
  4. A new Instagram and TikTok account
  5. A media wall with selfie frames and a finish line arch for those selfies / social media posts.
This will be in addition to professionally timed results, drinks and snacks and a group of warm and inviting volunteers.

Come and join us as we celebrate your achievements at the SMC Awards Presentation night. It would be great to see each one of you SMC runners to celebrate each others achievements !

The presentation night will be held on Saturday 13 July 2024 at St Johns Park Bowling Club.

It will be a night full of fun, catching up with fellow runners, delicious 3 course dinner, receiving that much deserved trophy, joining in with the awardees and even enjoying a night out with your close friends and family in this joyous occasion.

  • There will be cash lucky door prizes, and raffle ticket prizes.
  • 3 Course dinner, coffee and tea.
  • Hear our guest speaker Jim Owens, who has represented his country to win state titles and a current level 4 athletics coach who has coached previous City2Surf winners.
  • Fun games and trivia.
  • And of course receiving that coveted trophy you so deserve. How cool is that??
