Membership
You do not need to be a member to run at SMC. You can just register, turn up and run if you like! However SMC is a running club and we hope you want to be a part of it.
Your $25 Membership includes the following benefits:
- At each race you attend, you will automatically be entered into a members-only raffle with cash prizes (new in 2024/25).
- You will be offered a discounted rate for SMC awards night dinner ticket.
- If you compete in all 9 runs in the same series, you will receive a commemorative “I did the flaming lot” t-shirt. ‘Same series’ meaning all nine long runs, all nine 10km runs, or all nine 5km runs.
Perhaps the most important benefit is that you’ll become a member of a running club which has been established for over 30 years.
Please note that membership may only be purchased up until the 6th race in the season. Once the registrations shut for race 6, so will the option to become an SMC member. So don’t leave it too late!
