This will be in addition to professionally timed results, drinks and snacks and a group of warm and inviting volunteers.

Come and join us as we celebrate your achievements at the SMC Awards Presentation night. It would be great to see each one of you SMC runners to celebrate each others achievements !

The presentation night will be held on Saturday 13 July 2024 at St Johns Park Bowling Club.

It will be a night full of fun, catching up with fellow runners, delicious 3 course dinner, receiving that much deserved trophy, joining in with the awardees and even enjoying a night out with your close friends and family in this joyous occasion.

  • There will be cash lucky door prizes, and raffle ticket prizes.
  • 3 Course dinner, coffee and tea.
  • Hear our guest speaker Jim Owens, who has represented his country to win state titles and a current level 4 athletics coach who has coached previous City2Surf winners.
  • Fun games and trivia.
  • And of course receiving that coveted trophy you so deserve. How cool is that??

With Race 7 being cancelled, we are not able to reschedule this event. What this means is that the points series will be amended to 5 races for qualification for the points series awards.
 
For those who purchased a single race entry for Race 7, those entries will automatically be moved to our next race being Race 8 held on 21st April 2024.
 
If for whatever reason you cannot attend Race 8, please email and advise your full name, a snapshot of your registration confirmation and your preference for either entry to Race 9 being held on 26th May 2024 or a refund. Please note this only applies for single race entries for Race 7 and all other race entries will remain unchanged.

Huge thank you to all who attended the Awards Presentation dinner. It was great to see runners turning up to accept their well-deserved awards.
 
Thank you to our guest speaker Harry Summers, 2016, 2017 and 2019 city2surf winner and to Councillor Steve Christou of Cumberland Council for attending. To David Marks, our emcee for the night, thank you once again for entertaining us.
